Eight Infrastructure Technicians from KDR Gold Coast light Rail achieved the very first Certificate II in Tram/Light Rail

Infrastructure on Friday the 26th June 2015 at a ceremony held at the KDR Gold Coast Light Rail depot.

The qualifications were obtain through a PRL process and three days of theory and practical assessments. The nationally

accredited units of competency that KDR employees undertook was a total of 16 units to achieve the qualification.

The Training and assessment process was undertaken by CERT Qld Training Manager Jason Baxter, CERT Workforce/Development Consultant Rae Fossard (RPL Process) and NSW CERT Welding Trainer Allen Holden who deliver the unit Heat and cut materials using Oxy/LPG equipment for the rail industry.
