This course provides the foundation for workers to operate safely and contribute to track construction and maintenance.
Candidates desirous of undertaking further studies in the technical aspects of track construction and maintenance can go on to complete the qualification TLI27121 – Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure receiving credit for the units covered in this course.
This course is a partial completion of TLI27121 – Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment certificate issued on successful completion.

A Category 3 Rail Medical, often referred to as a CAT 3 Medical, is an assessment designed to help non-safety critical workers make sure their health and fitness does not impact the rail network. The CAT 3 Medical tests your ability to operate safely in the rail corridor so you can hear instructions, move to a safe place, and maintain an awareness of your surroundings.
