ARTC/Vline Safely access the rail corridor (SARC)

This course has been designed for workers who are required to access the rail corridor as part of their role. It is designed to give learners the skills and knowledge required to safely enter and navigate around the rail corridor and danger zone with the permission of the access provider‚ in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

Cat 3 Rail Medical

Workers in this category are also known as non-safety critical workers. Often referred to as Around the Track Personnel‚ these workers are responsible for their own safety and the safety of fellow workers. A medical assessment will check the ability of a worker to walk in the rail corridor, work under supervision and identify and move to a safe place.

This qualification is intended for people who want a career in the rail industry performing Lookout Working and Handsignalling duties.

These duties may include protecting worksites, obstructions and defective fixed signals on the managed Victorian Rail Network and other associated tasks covered by the ARTC TA20 Rules and Operating Procedures for the Victorian main line rail network.

This qualification is intended for people who want a career in the rail industry performing Lookout Working and Handsignalling duties.

These duties may include protecting worksites, obstructions and defective fixed signals on the managed Victorian Rail Network and other associated tasks covered by the V/Line Rules and Operating Procedures for the Victorian main line rail network.

TA20 ARTC Track Force Protection Coordinator Level 2

Track Force Protection Coordinator Level 2 workers provide protection arrangements to workers who are conducting work activities on the ARTC managed Rail Network in Victoria.
Level 2 Track Force Protection Coordinators are responsible for the overall worksite protection arrangements under one of the following work on track methods:
• Absolute Block Signalling
• Track Force Protection Country Regions
• Track Warrant Working
• Track Occupancy Authority (TOA) – Benalla to Oaklands only
Level 2 Track Force Protection Coordinators are also responsible for manually operating mainline points.
