Are you looking for a way to improve productivity, upskill your workforce and reduce training costs for your business? The Skills First program offers rail industry businesses the opportunity to receive high-quality accredited rail training delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding.

What is the Skills First program?

Available through CERT Training, the Skills First program is a Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding initiative that provides eligible individuals and businesses access to high-quality, Victorian government-subsidised training.

This program is designed to support the growth and development of Victoria’s rail infrastructure industry by providing high-quality training and upskilling opportunities for eligible Victorian students and workers at lower tuition fees.

Funding for eligible trainees on the TLI27121- Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure is available.

What is Skills First funding?

The cost of training employees eligible for Skills First funding is incredibly cost-effective, making it an outstanding opportunity for rail industry businesses to upskill their workforce. The funding covers most of the training costs, leaving only ancillary fees and training business expenses to be paid by the company. This means that businesses can access high-quality accredited training without breaking the bank, making it an intelligent investment in the future of your workforce. With the support of Victorian and Commonwealth Governments, it’s never been easier or more affordable to upskill your employees.

Plus, CERT Training is here to help you access this funding and incentives. Our team of experts will support you throughout the process, from checking staff eligibility to offering in-house, site-based or off-site training options that suit your business needs.

If you receive Government funding for TLI27121- Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure and have your training delivered by CERT Training’s highly experienced and industry-recognised rail trainers, you can reduce the burden of administration and compliance while ensuring your employees receive the best possible training.
