This comprehensive unit equips participants with the knowledge and skills required to safely work in and around confined spaces. The training focuses on identifying confined spaces, assessing and controlling associated hazards, and understanding relevant legal obligations, including permit and compliance requirements.
Participants will learn how to use safety equipment correctly, follow safe work procedures, and apply risk control measures in accordance with current Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation.

Participants undergo an assessment prior to commencement of training which assists us to identify any learning support which may be required. This course requires participants to have language, literacy and numeracy skill levels to be able to:
- Read and understand work safety signs and symbols
- Read and understand workplace policies, procedures and information
- Understand basic spoken English
- Communicate basic safety-related information
